Something I've been wanting to do for ages is make a proper Deviant ID for myself. Originally this was going to have a nouveau styled background, but it just wasn't working. I thought about it for a while, and then I finally realized that it would look better in the style of Drew Struzan's Star Wars Posters. After that, the whole piece really came together and I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

And if you don't know who Drew Struzan is, please educate yourself --> [link] He is a fantastic, amazing artist who does amazing work and has created some of the greatest, most recognizable movie posters of all time. I have an unfathomable amount of respect for the man, and it's a crying shame he's retired. Although apparently Disney has already approached him to work on the posters for the new Star Wars! Here's hoping he says yes!
